Cherry season has arrived!

After a long growing season, cherry growers can finally start pulling their crops off the trees and getting them out to market.

Cherry harvest is a very stressful time for growers, who are often faced with the management of almost every aspect of the job including finding staff, moving and managing them in the field, managing the processing facility and staff, managing the logistics of getting the unprocessed fruit to the processing plant and shipping the finished product to its final destination, and finding a buyer and negotiating a price for the fruit. This means long days and nights of tireless activity and incredable stress.

The season is late, which means we’re coming up on full swing now! Be sure to go out and buy some cherries!
